Who I am

I’m Marc Williams a copywriter and creative director who’s worked with clients across a wide range of products and services, with a focus on financial services.

My background is a mix of agencies (Draft, Wunderman, and Digitas) and client-side companies: Prudential, Chase, Facebook, UBS, and MetLife.

My work has earned a few awards: Echoes, New York Festivals, Financial Communications Society, PRSA and Caples. I co-chaired the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) Talent Forward Alliance and was a member of both the ANA In-House Agency Committee and the In-House Agency Forum. I am an alumnus of the 4 A’s MAIP program and have continued to serve the organization as a mentor and coach. In 2021 the Advertising Club of New York named me an “Icon” for mentoring up and coming minority talent in the ad industry.

I am a graduate of California State University, Fresno (B.A. in journalism) and Syracuse University (M.A. in advertsing).

I’m also a dog lover, podcast fanatic, and sci-fi geek. And I would welcome the opportunity to partner with you.
